📺 Portable Raspberry Monitor with High Resolution 1280×800 and HDMI Connectivity Review

I bought it to use as a display for Moode Audio on the Raspberry Pi. There seems to be an incompatibility that broke the touch functionality. It's a software thing. Winda threw crooked, but the product itself works fine. It fits perfectly in my 800 x 600 touch screen program used for a remote control application. I would buy it again if I had a similar need. So far the only problem is how it works on Windows 10. Apparently Windows expects the touchscreen monitor to be the primary monitor when using a multiple monitor setup. I have an Intel NUC that I'm using as the basis for my audiophile digital streaming setup and I need a screen to control the device. Look no further, this screen has everything you need in a touchscreen micro pc monitor. The NUC's standard 5V USB power supply perfectly powers this screen (so no included power bank is required), and the touchscreen works perfectly. the included "Plug and Play" solution and couldn't be happier!

It's a full install, all you really need is a keyboard and mouse. What, as they say. Go to the 30mm fans to install the GPIO pins. Use the current 4 screw positions. Two per fan. When installing, slide them in a checkerboard pattern. Make sure you have heatsinks on the Pi. Remove the plastic clips from the internal HDMI cable and the power cable, you need to open the whole case. I had to on mine because they were installed poorly, the HDMI board wasn't fully connected. Worked as stated. Sharp screen but should have bought a bigger one. As it is, it works great. Don't double the pixel size! This selection pushes the selection buttons from the screen and there is no recovery!

The screws on the back of the camera cannot be screwed in. I bought this monitor to have room for the camera but the screws don't fit so I can't attach the back cover for the camera. I had to use tape to secure the back of the camera.

This screen was perfect for what I needed it for. Just a small spare screen that allows me to run small programs like notes, system monitors, etc. while using my main screens for other purposes.

I am using monitors to display information provided by Raspberry for ham radio emergency communications. The displays are large enough to adequately display radio information. These stations are solar powered and the displays draw less than an amp at 12 volts. You are doing a great job!

The screen was simple and light and easy to use. The only problem is I wish it was a little bigger but that was my choice. Requires power outlet.

It was the best choice for me. Easy to carry, closed case with inputs etc. The touchscreen is worse than expected. Ideal for service, travel, etc. Use the Pie's dual output when you need a larger screen for gaming or movies.

Small simple. Perfect for what I need. It even runs on USB power only, so I don't have to switch outlets. Of course, the main application I wanted to use this for has issues with touch screens. Pay.

Works better than I expected. I use it connected to a RaspberryPi 4 and the monitor powers on via USB with no problem. A power supply is not required.

The cable connections are quite tight with rpi 4, but they fit. I installed Ubuntu for the Pi and the screen went on and off for a while after putting everything together, but it seems to have resolved itself now. In general, everything is of decent quality with an excellent picture! The screen has a small kickstand (stand) that isn't clearly visible in the photos, which is a plus.

I seem to have a defect. The screen will randomly degrade and flicker, but the connected Pi experiences no noticeable performance loss. If not for this 5/5.

I've had an issue with this screen since I first tested it. The screen lost signal and reconnected every time. At first I thought it was the power connector, but when I opened it up and changed the HDMI cable, I found that the problem was with the cable.

This touchscreen is perfect for what I need. I mainly use it when setting up a client monitoring system. Picture quality is clean and crisp, there's no video lag and there are actually built-in speakers for when I want to play my mini NES during lunch =).

The monitor itself is of good quality at an affordable price. The problem arises when you need to connect a second monitor. There's no easy way to fit an HDMI cable into a small space to get to a port. I had to disassemble the case and make a few cuts to connect a second monitor. A special cable is also required to overcome tight curves.

I was looking for something to take with me on a business trip to play games or watch videos and it worked out great. One feature that similar products don't have is access to I/O pins. built-in fan and speaker. Although the speaker is a bit "tinny". That wasn't a problem as I was using headphones. I really liked it for the price.
