You get what you pay for

The camera itself is excellent, the side night vision LEDs leave a lot to be desired. When connecting to my Raspberry Pi 3 B+, I noticed that one infrared LED is always on, causing a weird ghosting effect throughout the day - one turns off and on in daylight as it should (tested above with bright light, see below). .Picture). One side works, the other doesn't - I'm guessing for $14 QA isn't the best, but guessing what's wrong with the picture isn't fun.

Easy to set up and use, good value for money, IR could be brighter

Great camera! Very easy to assemble, IR sensors work well. The picture is nice and clear, there were no problems with it! My only concern is that IT lighting becomes useless beyond 10 feet or so, so it's best used at night for small spaces or nearby. For the price, this is a fantastic deal!

Perfect fit for Octopi out of the box

No drivers required. Octopi recognized the device and displayed the image without me having to adjust anything. It works better than the other raspberry camera and costs less. I love the two large lanterns that come with it. I turned them off by putting a pot next to them so they don't use a lot of power and don't get too hot. I am very happy with this item. Please note that you need to assemble 3 parts: left flashlight + camera + right flashlight with the screws provided. Also, the cord is…

    Works as advertised

This IR camera works great and requires no special setup. Simply turn on the IR emitters (or not, it's up to you) and connect your camera to the camera socket on your Raspberry Pi. Note that IR emitters actually give off a dull red glow when used, which you might not expect. At the base of each emitter are small "adjustment pots" that allow you to increase or decrease the power of the IR beam while making the emitter's red glow brighter or softer. I recommend the free and open-source…

FoV is perfect and low light works as expected.

[Disclaimer] I'm not a regular user, I decided not to use Side Inferred Lights, not because I think they're bad, but because I had a unique use for my project. [The Review ] I've bought several lenses for my Raspberry Pi as I've been working on home security cameras for a number of years now. I have to say this is my favourite. The angle is nice and wide, giving better exposure and a better view, but the image isn't wide enough to turn into the fisheye image I like. [My app] I installed mine in
