no grip = no outdoor bueno

no grip, I can't even pull it around my thigh tight enough to noticeably slow the capillary fill in my toes. if it doesn't hurt me There's no way to put it on my hand effectively if I lose the ability to use both hands.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Obsolete model

Easy to wear but wouldn't trust it to work.

This thing is small, but I doubt you'll stop a heavy bleed with one. They are too small and constrained to use under stress. If you want to wear it, train A LOT. and even then, I doubt this thing will work that well. also handling with one hand would be very difficult, if not impossible.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • New competitors have arrived

(In my opinion) Faster and tighter than CAT

I am a STOP THE BLEED teacher and we only teach CAT overlay for its military use and peer reviewed research. That being said, I tested it on my hip versus CAT. I can say without a doubt that I can apply it denser and faster than CAT. I still carry the CAT in my work bag and truck, but this RAT harness I keep in a leather case and it's always on me when I'm on the go.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Long delivery

Five stars in survival kits

MUST have for your EDC. Get trained on how and when to use TQ! Update: I recently ordered two more TQ RATS. As a member of Fire & Rescue/ER, and more importantly, as a Dad, I think these TQs are a must. Yes, there are other hubs on the market, and very good ones, but none of them are as easy to take with you on a daily basis as RATS. Remember, this is only good if you have it on hand and with you if something happens. I reviewed, tested and practiced with this product so much that I bought two…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

A good option to save space, carry small. Does not replace a gearbox.

I have a lot of experience with all kinds of combat turnstiles. Of course, my main option is CATS. However, it takes up valuable space on my outer body armor. That's why I chose RATS to wear the vest. Note that I still carry the CAT in my waist pack. It's always good to have two options because if you need one, you probably need two. This is a great second option or something to help you choose the best option or until the ambulance arrives. Also, it may not work as well on tall people as you…

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Easy to use best when camping and hiking

This is my favorite tableware! For me, this is the fastest of the four ways I've tried. It works with very small limbs, like those of a dog or a small child. I've heard the argument that size doesn't matter because you can only hold a small limb in your hand, but I find that ridiculous. I may not be strong enough to hold it tight enough for long, and I can't be sure I won't need that hand for something else. SWAT-T was too difficult to use; It was fine for a small limb, but it was too difficult

Pros
  • best
Cons
  • small things

I buy compression straps

*I'll copy and paste the two tourniquets together here, note which one I'm talking about*Searching for cheaper alternatives to CAT and SOF-T, found several. In Revain, I liked RATS and SWAT-T the most. They work differently than traditional winches, but are very simple and very fast. As with anything, it takes practice and getting used to. I have not used either in a real world scenario but have practiced all upper and lower extremities on several adults of all sizes and my 5 and 8 year olds…

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Good but not great
