If you have a Gravitrax tag you need a scoop. One of the things that makes tacos more interesting is the ability to pick the balls back up (so they can fall back down). That's what the shovel does. This is much more predictable than I expected. My nephew really wanted to. Not many reviews and they seem complete. But I had to listen to another person say it just doesn't work. You're right. Out of the box, even with the recommended settings, it just doesn't work. It sends the marble in a random direction, sometimes where you want it, most often right next to the track. I teach potential energy and kinetic energy, not chaos theory.
