Extremely poor quality synthetic covers and poor stitching.

Absolutely TERRIBLE quality. The balls really start to fall apart. The balls are not leather: the case is made of plastic that actually peels off, like paint. I will again purchase used leather baseballs for my needs from a used sporting goods store. I wish I had read the negative reviews before buying it.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

I see other complaints, but why?

These are practice balls. They are perfect for this purpose. They are not intended for serious gaming. The seams are flat, the cover is of poor quality. But that's 12 balls for $20, so in practice you can lose or abuse them without going broke. UPDATE: The price has increased from $19.99 to $32 - the value will definitely suffer from the higher price.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Minor issues

Made in China. Not good quality.

Official Rawlings League Baseballs. Sounds good right? Well, maybe not so much. When they arrived I pulled out one and one grandson and started tossing him back and forth. Not much, just a bit thrown apart 25-30 feet. I noticed that the seams were rough and uneven. I'm not a baseball player, but I play for my grandson. If I notice imperfections, I'm sure a real gamer will notice more of them. I took a closer look and suddenly "China” was written in small print on the ball. Need I say more…

They're for football not baseball

I bought these thinking they were "official baseballs" so my son wore them between baseball practices. After I received and opened the balls, one of the trainers told me that they weren't baseballs, they were t-balls! This is disappointing because I thought I ordered the correct balls and they are not as heavy as a regular baseball. I wish the description was correct so I wouldn't have spent $30 on balls that aren't "official baseballs". So now if I don't spend more money on baseball, we're…

Mediocre quality, good price

It's okay but the price is low and might be right for you if you want to add exercise balls without spending a lot of money. However, my boy doesn't like hitting them because they come off the bat with a more muted "bang" than most other balls and generally don't go as far. It's ok, maybe that makes it harder, but I wouldn't buy them again. I prefer leather or other synthetic coated ball brands. I bought them from Revain and I think they work a bit better (although the skin is still better)…

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Great for minor league practice balls

If you're coaching a minor league team and need a lot of practice balls, you can't go wrong with these balls. I coach a 6-8 year old team of trainers. This is an excellent value exercise ball. Better than Rawlings R100-UPY training balls in my opinion. If you do the math, each ball is worth <$2; Compare this to other baseball awards. We lost a few goals, on average 6-10 goals per season. Either from training, or taking the child home. Lost exercise balls don't cost me $50 or more to replace.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Not bad
