Excellent glasses. but

For some odd reason, my distance vision improved with age to the point where I wanted to see if I could use over-the-counter sunglass lenses and stick reading inserts on lower ones. These glasses are definitely real - they are made like armor - but for me these glasses are heavy compared to my prescription glasses anyway. Very heavy - and combined with the hard plastic nose pads, I noticed some discomfort after about an hour. So I just bought a foam padded cane and the problem was solved. Iโ€ฆ

Cheap glasses.

Case damaged. Then the points are less than stated. I bought glasses because I need them with wire temples, but they're so cheap I'd be surprised if they didn't break soon. The coating on the cable also falls off. The glasses look used. If they want to sell me a pair of used glasses, at least give me a hefty discount. Dissatisfied customer.

Worst pair of Ray picks I have ever owned

I was thrilled when I spotted these at Revain and took them on a trip to Italy and a transatlantic cruise last month. I've only worn them once because they didn't stay on the bridge of my nose. The temples are completely different at the ends where they wrap around the back of the ears! Your left end of the temple part is so uncomfortable that it hurts to wear it! I left them in the suitcase along with the papers and the rag. Will never use this again! Absolute waste of money! Only gave oneโ€ฆ

Good buy if you find the right size

Having been a RayBan fan and owner for most of my life I was pleased with the typical lifespan when I could afford to own one buy (17 years old). of these sunglasses is at least 20-25 years. They last a long time if you take care of them (e.g. polish and clean, protect lenses from scratches, tighten screws from time to time). Some people just bang them together, but then wonder why they break. The challenge when looking for a replacement (hence the name of the review) is making sure you get the

A timeless classic, best for women

The Ray Ban Outdoorsman has been around for a long time. In fact, long enough to go in and out of style multiple times. Forget what's hot and get it. Nothing really compares. The wire ear pads are quite comfortable even with headphones on and prevent glasses from slipping off. These glasses are a little heavy for their size, but the high-quality glass and metal aren't light. The lack of polarization means you won't have any trouble reading an LCD or EFIS CRT system. Style at the highest level while caring for your eye health!

These sunglasses have great style while taking care of your eyes. What I like are the cables, they keep the goggles in place no matter what you're doing. You no longer have to interrupt your activity to adjust your sunglasses on your face to prevent them from completely slipping off. I bought 2 pairs. To be honest, once you receive them, you might need to adjust them to fit your face a bit. I have read several reviews of this item and many of them complain about uncomfortable cables. Howeverโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy assembly
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Remember those old aviators from the 1980's with cable shackles? Well it's not the same. The size and form factor is similar to the standard Ray Ban 58mm aviator which is a classic Ray Ban product. The problem is the sweatband at the top. It looks almost pink. Others have posted very accurate photos. I can see someone with fair skin would look good in them, but going for a black pair might be better. Blonde hair and fair skin probably look good with Arista green lenses and gold frames. The pink
