If I had read more details I would never have bought this product. A 9 volt battery should start at 9 volts or more. If you read more, they only calculate up to 8.4. I have many LiPo and Life batteries that charge to the specified voltage. That is trash!

Both batteries came pre-charged. But when I tested them both were below 8.5 volts. I figured maybe they didn't fully charge them, so I put them aside to continue charging. Three hours later, one checked in at 8:48 a.m., the other at 8:51 a.m., both indicated that they were fully charged. See photo. Excuse me? Didn't I order some brand new "9 volt" batteries? These batteries have clearly been on the shelf for 3 years or more. I want a full refund.

There are some 9V rechargeable lithium cells on the market that provide true 9V DC power. They are not. Remember, these are just two LiPo batteries connected in series. You will never get more than 8.4V output. The "curve" of the discharge is a property of ordinary lithium (which unfortunately isn't flat at all), so the voltage falls off linearly.
