Suitable for BLW best for solid feeding

I did a lot of research on which spoon to use for BLW. "Gutensil" was a favorite I found, but this spoon is better in my opinion. I love the choke guard as my toddler just doesn't want to know that things can gag him. Since it is a spoon, it can also be used for food of different textures and consistencies. All in all I can only recommend this spoon! My 7 month old already has teeth and the spoon still feels great. We use it every day.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Factor Set

I love this spoon! in feeding

We love this spoon! I give it to my child to "help" feed themselves. This prevents him from taking my spoon and he can use it to bring the filled spoon to his mouth without any problems, he has been able to do this since we started eating puree at 5.5 months. I also love the leaf, it keeps him from sticking the spoon too far in his mouth and making him vomit. The spoon is also a great material and texture to chew on while teething. The best spoon!

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Seniors

If you have such a toy, they can play with it and chew on it.

Much weaker than I thought. If a spoon is held at one end with any weight, it will bend. Otherwise it seems to be working as intended. The son hasn't quite mastered it yet, but he's not yet 10 months old. In addition, if you have such a toy, they can play with it and chew on it. We have had problems with our son chewing or biting spoons while eating. It cannot help this cause.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Nothing

Excellent self-feeding spoon

So my son is very stubborn. He started eating solid food around 5 months and decided to go on strike a few weeks later. Every time I fed him he would try to take the spoon away from me and if I wouldn't let him he would throw his head back or get angry. So I found this spoon and decided to give it a try. He loves to. He likes to play with it, but also likes to eat by himself. I like that I don't have to worry about him pushing it too far. I also like that it's made of silicone.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • There are downsides

Great for teaching a kid how to eat themselves!

I love love love this spoon! My baby is 9 months old and has been taking a feeding spoon from my hand for a few months. I gave him an ordinary baby spoon, but the food fell off it immediately before it got into his mouth. So he hasn't really learned to feed himself. This spoon shortened the learning curve significantly and the second day he used the spoon he figured out how to put it to his mouth and by the third day he was actually sucking food out like a real spoon. It's designed to hold food

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Almost everything is available
