Great for short trips.

My job is far enough away that I don't really enjoy walking, but close enough where I can't justify driving. This scooter is the perfect solution! The big wheels mean it's nice and fast, and it can definitely handle pavement cracks better than the original Razor. Plus it's a lot quieter! I'm quite tall for a 6ft woman and my arms are the perfect height when fully extended. It's nice to see them getting high-friendly these days! I believe this will be a comfortable ride for those who are 6ft 2in

Distance to the ground from the ground.

I ordered from Beach Camera and it was delivered the next day! I have three A5s for myself and others. I've been using mine on average once or twice a week since 2/2013. The scooters are still in very good condition. We took the A5 and A6 for a two mile comparison. Performance was nearly the same in terms of taxiway and stroke count. With A6 the performance is slightly better. The height of the decks from the ground between A5 and A6 are the same. I like the height because it's easier on my…

Moves very smoothly. Quiet and very good exercise.

I bought a scooter to get my 7 year old grandson riding a scooter and I've fallen in love with his approach to adults. I bought 3 more for my wife, daughter and myself to ride. On weekends we go to different places to ride scooters together. We've made it a family tradition and a bond. We've been to several different locations in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and have plans to go much further. We carry them all over the trunk of our amazing Vitara. Of course, I'm the only 52-year-old in my area who…

No breaks. None - Scooter

First things first: this model just can't stop. Period. Yes, it's an AMAZING scooter, strong, freaking FAST, but it can't stop. I've tried adding duct tape and all - this thing doesn't have real brakes, and given the size of the wheels (yahoo) good luck with the fender break. Compared to my A5: It's faster, more comfortable, but much bigger and unlike the A5, it can't break. The locking mechanism is good, but I often didn't close it completely by mistake (my bad one) and it folded up while…

Super smooth ride thanks to extra large diameter wheels and tires.

We have the Original Razor Kick Scooter "A", it is suitable for very smooth surfaces. So I bought an A3 for the family and also an A5 for myself and both are big upgrades from the 'A' but the A5 is much smoother than the A3. So I upgraded the wheel bearings to Bones Reds in the A3 and A5 and it was a huge improvement. Since the family was getting a bit older and we no longer needed the A, I've had my eye on the A6 since I bought the A5. Well the A6 is the best of them all, so good that I'm…

Perfect with branded mudguards

I currently have A6 and A5 scooters and they are great for the price I paid. $113 and $80 respectively. I'm 6ft 2in and 200lbs. My choice is A6. In terms of speed, it's certainly faster than the A5. I drive 3.25 miles one way across the city of Chicago six times a week. 13 minutes by car and 25 minutes on the A6. I rode in the rain last Sunday and I have to admit that the ride itself was quite comfortable. The only downside is that the water hits the calves directly. I found a solution online…

Better than a bike if the ride is flat and under 2 miles

I have been riding this scooter a mile to work every day for the past 8 months and have been very pleased overall. On my very flat route it's about three times faster than walking and it's very easy to drive. Minor Complaints: 1. The deck is barely big enough for my shoes (11-12, 45-46 EU size), the gap at the ends is only about 2.5cm or less, so when I change my foot for a change need to be careful to put my foot in. acceptable place.2. The plastic nut at the front wheel/deck connection can…

Cheap and Dangerous

Things I like: - It's relatively fast - Big wheels handle disturbances more easily than smaller wheels - Vibrates less than older Razor products (mostly, if not entirely, I mean the steering wheel) things I don't like: - The adjustment design of their anti-rattle folding hinge (at the toe on deck) is not up to date. The threads of the adjustment screw (the smaller hex screw that presses against the base) are regular (not reversed). ), so tightening the plastic knob will loosen that screw…
