🐾 Stay Seen and Dry: RC Pet Products Venture Shell Reflective, Water Resistant Dog Coat Review

I love RC Pet jackets. My dog is 80 pounds and has a barrel chest like a boxer. First I bought a winter jacket, which I liked so much that I only bought a spring-summer jacket. It zips up around the neck and stomach/chest for easy on and off, and runs the full length of my dog's body, keeping most of it dry. We run in all weathers and these jackets hold up well and are easy to clean.

This is the BEST jacket we have ever bought for our Bandit pug and we have bought many jackets over the years. The jacket fits snugly around his neck and girth but is not too long in the back. In addition, the jacket has a woven lining that protects it from the cold, wind and rain while repelling the sheer amount of fur it sheds every day. I love the fleece lining, but it sticks to his fawn fur. PERFECT for the worst weather. Thanks very much!

Finally a product that hits all the right notes. A good balance of being lightweight and fragile enough to succumb to the elements. While I was initially taken aback by the placement of the Velcro, they are easy to attach and remove and have enough flexibility in size to allow for minor changes in the dog's weight. And above all, although it is breathable, it does not allow water to penetrate my dog's coat. I have tried several other well known brands but was very happy with this one.

Love this dog raincoat. I have had several RC dog coats for my previous dog in the past and they have always been great. The quality is very good and I love the neon green color for rainy day safety. RC Pets coats are everywhere. They are well built and attractive. However, they do not mix well with Beagles. Mainly because the breastplate is designed for dogs with a much shorter chest, such as dogs. B. a small terrier designed. It would be much better if they made a breast plateless version like they do for larger dogs. There is a large amount of Velcro on the chest and abdomen to allow for girth adjustment. My miniature schnauzer gets too hot in the thicker version of this fleece lined coat. (Although she wears it perfectly in the snow and under 40 degrees Fahrenheit! The sizing is right for her breed. This particular coat is good for rainy weather above 40 degrees. Very rainy days. Washes well.
