Those little clips tend to break - if you can put the clips where the wires will never move you'll probably never notice - but if you ever break the speakers (during cleaning for example) or With your AV receiver (fiddle with new HDMI cables or whatever.) you may find that even the slightest occasional tug on the speaker cables can cause the plastic tab to come loose.

Easy to use and great price

I needed to run speaker wire for surround sound. These clips did their job well. If required, there is space for two wire pairs. This also means that a pair of wires has some free space. This is easily solved by placing them correctly (every 12 to 16 inches) and gently pulling on the wire at the two connection points and when going around the corners. I was very happy with this purchase and got exactly what I was looking for.

They are awful to work with unless you are bored and want to.

They are awful to work with unless you are bored and want to turn a 2 hour project into a 6 hour curse. You may be ok if you only have a short straight run and don't care how the wiring looks when it's done. Small nails are not sharp enough to pierce well before hitting the hammer and often fall out when you pick up the hammer. Next time I'll look for a better product or use big cable clamps again.

They are great for holding almost any type of wire.

They are great for attaching almost any suitable wire. I've used them to route speaker wire and they fit snugly but hold up great. I only gave four stars, like pulling the wire the clamps come out of the wall but that's to be expected. Half the reason for clamps is to make sure the wire isn't just hanging where it's being pulled. I ended up running the wires in the wall, but if I need to hang something on the wall again I'll buy them.

Great clips for cars and automotive electronics

I used these clips to route two pairs of 16 gauge speaker wire. It was exactly what I needed. The speakers were in my garage, so all I had to do was carefully walk across the plasterboard ceiling. If it were an indoor installation I would look for a more attractive solution. These clips were perfect for attaching two pairs of speaker wire (left and right). They held securely to the drywall. None of them came out for me. The only thing that confuses me is that about 1 in 10 nails didn't have…

Works well in the right application

I bought these brackets to hide the speaker wire under the ceiling. I didn't use this approach because the wire color contrasts so much with our wall/ceiling color, but I was still able to use it in an unusual way to convince the wires to stay attached to the carpet. Some will see this as an advantage, but I've found these embedded nails to be difficult to remove once hammered into a wall or carpet. Make sure you place them carefully the first time, as you risk excessive damage to the drywall…

Very annoying but they work.

I received these as well as 100 feet. a long speaker cable so I could finally hang my speakers in my room and have the cables run smoothly around the corners of the walls. I admit they got the job done; but i regret not taking the other guy i saw where he only needs one hand. Nails in plastic are very small. If they stick out too far, they fall out. If they stick too deep you will end up nailing the plastic to the wall. You need to push the nail down just enough so that it just sticks out but…
