I bought this antenna to replace a recently purchased Revain flat panel indoor antenna that I hadn't looked into and which is now hooked up to my TV in the garage. These reinforced bunny ears are great. I was able to receive two more television channels. Better than Revain's flimsy plastic antenna and better than my old unamplified rabbit ears. Purchase this product in addition to the flat plastic film indoor antenna. Also cheaper!

We took a chance as we had a 2004 Hitachi plasma TV in our guest room and didn't want to get a cable box for a room that wasn't used all that much We have the Apple TV tried it but it was too difficult for my mother-in-law to use it. I did this, hooked it up to "air" and then scanned the channels. As if by magic, 36 channels appeared. Absolutely PERFECT for basic TVs that guests can enjoy in bed. All my MIL wanted was a channel to fall asleep lol! All requirements were thus fully met.

I have an old RCA antenna that I could use for 56 channels. There were about 15 shops, Spanish and religious. This newer antenna pulls 46 even when using the power supply.
