Good little recorder

I have had this recorder for about 3 years and have been using it since it was switched on. If you are left-handed, it is best to learn how to use it with your right hand, as the important controls are on the right edge of the device. It has good sound quality and is reliable. The buttons on the front are small, but you get used to them. It's worth it.

Pros
  • is clear even to the old
Cons
  • ---

Inexpensive and easy to use.

The RCA RP5010 is a great voice recorder for people on a budget who need a long recording time (3 hours). It's easy to use, fits in the palm of your hand, and delivers excellent recording quality. As for me, I use it a lot in college for note-taking. The only downside I can think of is the short battery life; It does come with a 3V DC adapter jack though - a lifesaver for me.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Useful, not convenient

My first DVR. I use it for my 2 weekly conference calls with clients. Both meetings last about an hour, then I write down the activities, release plans, etc. In the two months I had, I used 5 sets of batteries. Not too happy with this result. Too bad I can't find a 3 volt adapter that will fit. Not on this site, not on RCA.com, not online. Next station Radio Mine. 'Zon must provide access to this review. Be ready to flip coins on AAA cells. The Skip Back button is very complex and I use this…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • No performance
