When I opened the case I noticed all traces of plastic scrap inside which was most likely the result of factory drilling. into the body to create holes. I think the manufacturer never bothered to remove it. So I conclude that this is a very cheap product with no quality control. Nice little junction box appears to be of acceptable quality. There are a few things to note that are difficult to see from the picture; The terminal block occupies most of the inside of the box. If you're using more than 14/3 (ROUND!) wire, you'll probably want something bigger, or just use nuts/splices instead of a terminal block. This product is well made. It has everything you need except screws for mounting. After adapting it to my needs, it works very well. The cable entry holes and cover appear to be well protected from moisture (but I haven't exposed them to really wet conditions yet). The picture with the red and green wires labeled "6 Bit Waterproof Terminal Box" is not what is in the box. This picture shows 8 pairs of terminal screws for a total of 6.
