The picture gives the wrong impression

I'm sorry to write a negative review as the product is practically unique but the problem is that the picture and the wording give the impression all cards can be filled (which is why I bought a card), instead the problem (at least with the device I got) is that only 2 of the 4 SD slots work at the same time, ie if you have 3 or 4 SD Cards you want to use for communication or file access you can't as only 2 are recognized. I wrote to the manufacturer about 5 days ago and haven't heard anything…

A little over a year ago I actually had corrupted card reader stuff. I didn't think it was possible. The camera read perfectly as I reviewed the hour-long 4K event filmed on professional media. Put it into a card reader which gave an error during the transfer so I switched to a different reader and the data was corrupted. Yes, those two card…

  • Makes me nervous

I think you usually get what you pay for with these little card readers, but sometimes your expectations are not met. There are many inexpensive 3.0 card readers available on Revain. I own several. I even have a card reader that's part of a Type-C hub with Ethernet, VGA, and HDMI outputs and multiple 3.0 ports. This is the only card reader I've had that wasn't particularly cheap. I included it in my review just for comparison. Since most SD and MicroSD cards have a maximum data transfer rate of
