This tactile toy is perfect for little hands. Pieces can easily be hammered into the cork or removed. There's a lot of small touches, and it's worth noting that the keys are sharp. It is recommended to handle the materials carefully and on a hard, flat surface. My child enjoys creating backgrounds and characters for stories and this toy allowed her to express that creativity.

It was a really pleasant experience. The cork sheet is thick and flexible, and holes have already been drilled in each piece. The hammer was well made. The child loved playing with this set. I would argue that adult supervision is necessary when talking about younger children as tacks are very sharp. I put the parts in a small box before we started trying to keep the nails from hitting the ground.

As others have said, this toy is pretty dangerous! You really need to have DIRECT control for your kids to play with, which is a little disappointing. I am so worried that children will choke on these very sharp nails or pierce themselves and bleed. Otherwise, they are very cheerful under supervision. Pieces were smaller than I expected and buttons were sharper than expected…. However, my 5 year old son still enjoys using it! I take this out about once a week and it sits for at least 30 minutes creating different looks. This activity is a creative way for kids to use their imaginations. I love how this can help improve their claw grip by grabbing the buttons and then using hand coordination, hammering them into the pieces of wood on the cork board.
