I’m really not understanding why people are complaining about the shedding as if real human hair doesn’t shed from the scalp. But anyway, this is definitely worth it for practicing on relaxed type of hair. But I will say, if you wanna practice braids on a mannequin, I definitely recommend hair with a more curly, kinky texture.

I love braiding this mannequin but i just wish their were not some hairs sticking out of the braids. And there were some strings of white hair that i had to pick out but it is fine

Bought this for my 8yo daughter for Xmas and she absolutely loves it! The head is a tad bit smaller than expected, but for her age, it was fine. The hair texture is exactly what I wanted and there's no tangling or major shedding. Definitely worth the money!

It curls and straightens really well. I don't think it 100% human hair though. I used babyliss titanium flat irons on 410 and some of the hair melted onto the iron. (Human hair doesn't melt, it burns) It was very miniscule though. It sheds very little with the first shampoo.

I do not dislike it, but i don't like it either. the hair texture is pretty. But for my practicing braid purposes, it's absolutely useless. If you want to take braiding hair seriously for mostly afro hair, i do not reccomend this.

This product is great for the price👍🏽. The mannequin head may not be durable or long-lasting. 3 weeks and 3 styles later and she's still feeling soft and radiant.

I brought this mannequin head for my 11 year old that's learning to braid hair. It works great for her, she loves it. She gets a lot of practice on this doll.
