Display piece for my hammer collection.

I have a collection of hammers. It looks good. I have a Rosewill PC case, model Thor. My great uncle's name was Thorlief so I'm half Norwegian, my wife and I both like Marvell's Thor movies. A little fun for me.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Big hammer hand tool

This is a great hammer. The only downside is that the headstock, including the striking surfaces, is varnished or varnished, presumably to prevent the surfaces from tarnishing. This coating flakes off during use and the flakes fall onto the workpiece.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Everything is fine

Well built hand tool hammer

I was amazed that no major store or ACE hardware store in my town had a basic brass hammer so I had to order one online. It arrived as expected but left a large carbon footprint. I use it to hammer wood lathes on a Powermatic lathe. The brass doesn't ruin the tapered end of my live center while still allowing me to drive it deep into the large round bowl blanks.

Pros
  • Lots of good vibes
Cons
  • Fading

Seems like a good hammer.

So far I like this brass hammer. Looks well built and balanced. I've used it several times and it does what it's supposed to. The main effect is to protect the surface you hit. I've seen people write bad reviews about brass hammers getting damaged and snapped too easily. That's what they're here for. The brass hammer sacrifices itself to save the surface you hit. However, there is something ironic about this product. Do you see it in this picture?

Pros
  • Machined and hand polished head
Cons
  • Little things

SUPER comfortable piece of metal on the handle

Yes, this piece of brass on a wooden handle is as ergonomic and comfortable as expected, no more no less, hence the three stars. These Revain rating categories are driving me crazy. I can't believe the manufacturer didn't choose "stretch" along with "comfort". I hope they lose a few sales because of someone's millennial nonsense. I bought three of these for my various concrete grinders for installing and removing metal diamond tools in metal drive plates. Seriously, they seem well done and have

Pros
  • Non-sparking and prevents excessive contact with steel or other parts
Cons
  • So far so good

Beautiful brass head with a durable long handle

Brass hammers are meant to warp after use. It's a softer metal than steel, so you can use it to hit things you don't want to damage. Copper deforms instead of growing over the steel shaft you're hitting. I'm an industrial mechanic and I use this hammer to repair pumps, install and remove bearings and anything I need to move without damaging the finish. I've had it for almost a year now and use it every day. I've used the grinder a few times to get rid of the fungus that forms around the head…

Pros
  • Laser engraved for safe handling
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
