I bought this brush because it was said it could be used for contouring and although it feels strong and dense I have noticed smudges when contouring. There were areas on my face that looked like the brush skipped imperfections. Looks like a good brush but it didn't work for me. I ended up buying a fancy brush that works much better.

The perfect contour brush, especially the bronzer! Real Techniques brushes are so well made that it is unbelievable that they are sold at such an affordable price. One of my absolute favorite brushes and I have some great brushes from MAC, Sephora, Zoeva, Morphe and Stigma. I've had it for almost two years now and it has never shed, never lost its firmness and the bristles match beautifully to this day. This is a great addition to any makeup lover's collection.

I bought this specifically to use with the Creme Contouring Kit but I've also used it with powder blush and liquid foundation just to give you an idea of what I use it with. Pros: You can actually use this brush for most things, I was concerned it wouldn't work with creams and liquids as it's a bit cheaper, but it actually worked very well for both. Love this brush. It's great for my eternity when I can really shade my forehead and make less than 5 heads if you know what I'm talking about. It's also great for contouring, making your neck and chin appear narrower. Many YouTubers even use for the character why not try it and I'm so glad I did. I would recommend it for beginners or even experts for makeup lovers. The color is beautiful and the bristles are so soft and gentle on my sensitive skin.

I like the brush, I will use it, but I am a bit disappointed with it. The brush width is wider than I expected. I was expecting (and wanting) a narrower width for more precise contouring, but it's fuller (not round, but fuller than I thought). I can use that for the base. Or I can use this to hide the outline. Probably one of the best brushes from Real Techniques. The bristles are very dense but soft. I think this brush is great for multitasking. You can use this for a base with a dotted or buffed motion. Unlike their professional facial brush, it leaves no streaks from foundation at all.
