Not for me. jewelry or shoes.

I folded it in half and told my husband to break it and it popped like nothing happened. I used to sell shoes when it was hot in Sperry and we would pull on those laces, they always broke. We gave them out in pairs when someone got a specific shoe. It was an inside joke with the bad boss. He called them gifts and just gave them away with a slight grin to get rid of. People would be very grateful. .but 20 years have passed and this company still exists. I thought we might have overtightened them

Pros
  • Not for use in boots or sturdy shoes.
Cons
  • boring packaging

Top quality. The strength to withstand the tension of the seams.

I used a heavy needle and threaded the sewing thread straight along the line. this. 2 laces per stitch to repair a very old heavy leather wallet (nearly 3/16 inch thick) that had a wider lacing (1/4 inch wide) but was flimsy and rotted after 30 years. Anyway, I spent 2 hours sewing the sides and front of the bag in a criss-cross pattern, trying to get the 2 lacing lines a bit parallel and flat for each stitch layer. Not 100% successful but the bag is now back together and very durable. I use it

Pros
  • Common uses include jewelry making, necklaces, bracelets, pony beading, garment trimming, Indian fashion weaving projects and children's crafts.
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Too thin and flimsy to use

While this may be decorative, don't expect it to hold up to strain or weight. It's too light and flimsy to be useful. I was trying to make a leather drawstring pouch and it ripped when I tried to tighten the drawstring. At this point I noticed that it appeared to be made from two even thinner pieces of leather glued together. Also note that they don't accept returns, which I didn't see with my order. I don't know what to do with the rest of the role. I could just throw it away. Unless it can…

Pros
  • Suede, Lace, Leather
Cons
  • Some Bugs
