Very nice design and price but there are some quality issues that need improvement. Inserting and removing plugs is not as smooth as with other sockets.

Believed (incorrectly) to be tamper evident. In the United States, installing them is a violation of the code in most cases.

Chinsey Thin and you get what you pay for. I use 12/2 or 14/2 cables. The socket is too small to accommodate the cable. It doesn't get any cheaper.

So far most of them work but as the title suggests there are a few flaws in the packaging which unfortunately don't work. The ones that work look great!

Bought to replace the old yellowish round bases. They have a nice "push-to-connect" feature that I unfortunately couldn't use as I have old 12 gauge wire at my house that was too thick to fit.

We did a major overhaul at our house and bought these as they are a good price compared to the Leviton or Lutron. I went to install them 2 months later and found a few defects in each box and the quick connect didn't work with 12 gauge wiring making the installation tedious. 12 Gauges are commonly found in older homes. So if you have an older house, ditch them.

If you are looking for a cheap solution to convert your old duplex sockets, look no further. Screwless wall panels alone are worth something. At the same time, the vessels themselves are cheap and of dubious quality. The rear cable connectors in particular don't hold the cable well enough and are therefore useless. The side brackets are fixed screws only (no clamp plates) so the wire needs to be twisted around the screw. While this can be fine in most cases, these can be tricky where space is…
