Works very well. The microphone picks up words very well. But it takes a lot of practice. So unless you really want to spend a lot of time figuring out what to do with memorizing a word list, I found I had to spend a lot of time typing and dictating. And the reason I bought it is because I was able to use my right hand for a month, so the goal was thwarted. I've used it in the past and really liked it, but again I forgot all the shortcuts which would be extremely helpful.
