The camera is not bad, the microphone is quiet

Image quality is not bad. A bit noisy on some uses, but overall not bad. Although the microphone is quite quiet. Inaudible but not as good as other webcams I've used.

Pros
  • Solid construction
Cons
  • Modern

Bought because it said "Linux " yes it works

Just wanted to confirm that it works on Linux. Everything works great with Manjaro. No fuss, no fuss. Plugged in and knew immediately. As I checked in Zoom and OBS, both work.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Boring packaging

Plugged in and playing on Debian 10

I tried another camera that claims to work with all systems and doesn't need drivers. Linux couldn't even tell it was connected. If you're using a free operating system, this is what you need. It's plugged in and playing on Debian 10 and the picture looks great.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • I won't say anything

GREAT picture quality but the picture was distorted

This camera has the best clarity I have ever owned. Unfortunately, it's so wide-angled that it looks like you're looking through a bubble. This would be great if you are using it for a conference room or a large number of people. But for me, sitting in front of the computer, it was too much.

Pros
  • Pleasing
Cons
  • Tradable

Good picture for the price

The picture is good. I don't like manual focus, it's difficult to focus the camera. The camera works with Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Google. It's a good buy for the price, but it would have been worth paying more for the autofocus. This is a widescreen view, so be careful what's around you if you don't want it in the frame. You must download the AMCap software if using Windows for it to work.

Pros
  • Excellent general characteristics
Cons
  • Not satisfied with everything

Plug and play with Linux

My laptop runs Linux (Fedora 32). Although the camera was supposed to be Linux compatible, I expected problems with installation and configuration. nope Worked immediately. I already had a web conferencing site in my browser when I connected the camera for the first time. Almost immediately, the web browser recognized the new camera and asked if I would like to use it. Adding it was as easy as adding a mouse or keyboard. Very happy.

Pros
  • practical
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Works with Ubuntu and Linux Mint

I am writing this so that users of Ubuntu 18.04 Gnome and Linux Mint 19 Cinnamon Desktop can use this webcam. works with these two distros. It works fine with two of my old (about 10 year old) Ubuntu HP towers and a newer (2 year old) Acer tower running Linux Mint. The video is a bit choppy on older machines, but fine on newer ones. Note: All my machines have updated Nvidia PCIe graphics cards. I don't use the built in video controller. I use the downloadable Webcamoid app. I hope this helps…

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • I don't like it, everything is fine

Far from perfect, but good for the price.

Not what you would like to start a YouTube channel but good for the price if you use it for video calls in these pandemic days. On Linux it works without problems. I'm using it on Ubuntu 20.04 and it's plug and play. Works seamlessly in all apps I've tried and also works with Webcamoid to create a virtual camera to add effects like Google Meet to your pic. Image quality isn't great, especially in low light, but I think it's acceptable for the price. It has dual mics but sucks, even if I raise…

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Very expensive
