I was afraid of scratching the paint on my new truck. On the sill is a fairly wide sill that I've touched several times with my work boots. These protectors are quite thick and should last quite a while. Can't beat the price for what it offers.

Looks good, looks solid. I'm curious how it will behave in winter. A bit difficult to install around curved areas. Tip: Place it where you want it and shape it BEFORE removing the backing so it will fit better when actually sticking to the truck.

Good product, easy to install. It's very similar to what they use on skateboards. When installing on a liftgate, keep an eye on the underside of the sill to align the underside. It might even help if you draw a line on the seesaw with a dry-erase marker with the door closed so you can see where to put the stickers. You shouldn't mount them so low that you can see them when the door is closed.

The visual instructions are best viewed on Revain and I took screenshots to remember the positioning. The included tool to remove air bubbles works well. It takes patience. The adhesive is not an instant bond so you can change the position as needed. As the driver got in, I made sure to slide the guard up and under the door seal so it wasn't visible under the door at all. The back is more complex due to the two pieces and the correct stitching. This product itself is a high quality material. The complete lack of instructions is a practical violation of the terms of the contract. There are NO instructions at all in this kit and you will learn that for the rear seats you will need to "sew" two pieces together and hopefully they will fit together. Much luck. I bought these to prevent kids and dogs from scratching the paintwork along the threshold of my Ram 1500 DT. They work perfectly. Easy to install, just take your time and line everything up. Use the photos on Revain to see the location of each lane. so that the stripes don't show up on the door sill when the truck doors are closed, simply place the stripes a little higher than in the pictures. You can attach the strips with masking tape before installing to test this.

So I wasn't sure as the decals weren't labeled and the printed instructions weren't that easy to read, but I looked at the pictures on Revain and guessed. A tip: use a piece of chalk to see where the closed door line meets the threshold. I set one too low and could see it going under the door when the door was closed.
