I was skeptical reading other reviews/lack of information on "usage" but with my 1998 Chevy Cavalier shifter socket it couldn't be easier. There were no instructions included. But he literally just snapped open with a pair of pliers. All I needed was a white piece.

I've had the product for 4 days now and it works great. I used a regular washer on the bushing and a rubber washer on the lever, squeezed it with pliers and it snapped easily. The job took less than an hour, everything was removed and installed. The 3D shell I needed was a white piece from the kit.

Ordered it for my trailblazer 05 I worked with white for over thirty minutes with fingers, pliers, screwdrivers, whatever I had and I could his not fit. . If he looked like he was there, he was back in no time. Not impressed and threw them in the yard. I'm going to the dealer soon to get a replacement.

I ordered 2 of these bushing kits for my 2007 GMC Envoy and the company says they will fit. Came with 2 orange and 2 white sockets and no information. The white one was too small and the orange one was too big and kept slipping off. I ended up using zip ties to hold the orange in place until I found the right size. Found out orange was for the Chevy Trail Blazer, it would help if the company would label the packaging.

Great concept, the part that goes into the shift bushing worked well but the part that slides over the lever where the nipple is needed small couldn't fit it properly, used a vise and gently pressed it down making sure I didn't pinch the small piece that was pushing through the fitting, if that part was a little smaller it would work great.

This is the equivalent of Dorman 14057. I have a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer and needed the bushing on the shift cable under the center console. That's *not* the correct part. It looks very similar, and Dorman's website even says it fits all Chevy Trailblazer models. Actually the matching part is Dorman 14055 which is also listed as fitting all Trailblazer models. My advice to anyone installing this part: Place the bushing onto the derailleur *before* installing the bushing into the shifter cable…
