It's actually red. And lube.

Very slippery. This tub could probably be used to build 5 or 6 engines. Easy to use in this jar. Adheres well to the part you put on, as well as tools, pets, small children, light switches, etc.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Uncertain

The start is still pending.

I have compared this to another quality brand. Put a little of both on camera and sit in the hot summer sun all day. It lay there and got stuck when the other ran away and after a short while could no longer see. This stuff lasted all day, not as smooth as the other stuff but good stuff and it was used to start the engine.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • No performance

A good product that goes a long way. Would recommend.

This item is really smooth and lasts a long time. I used it to install a new camshaft and rocker arm on a new cylinder head. It stays where you put it and lasts long enough when set up. I used a brush to lubricate the camshaft and rocker arms and it stayed in place while I cranked the engine to adjust the valve clearances. I have used other assembly lubes but this one is far better. The container looks small, but it is enough even with heavy use.

Pros
  • Practical item
Cons
  • Modern

Hot weather grease or assembly grease

This is an excellent intermediate link between fat and oil. It's very thin but stays where you put it and works much better than regular lube in the cold. If your area has mostly hot weather, this will work. If yours is consistently below freezing, Motor Oil or Slip 2000 may work better. Use very sparingly, otherwise sand will accumulate! Only use qtip to apply to the surface of the rail or a small dab on the gas rings. It is also a quality product for engine assembly.

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • Negative present

REPLACING RIFLE LUBRICANT?

Bought a new gun 22 and the bolt was quite stiff, applied liberally with a tiny brush to anything that moved, twisted the bolt for a few minutes and immediately felt a definite improvement. , quick response, stiffness disappeared. Open it again, delete everything unnecessary, collect, load and shoot. I wonder if a manufacturer would do this before shipping their new product to their customers, there would be fewer complaints about dnf, dnl, sticky slides and stores. , etc ? This is good stuff…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Small things

Lubricant AR 15 on Lubricants

I recently tried this on the outside of the bolt carrier and cam pin on my AR15 at the recommendation of a local friend. It's not even NLGI #1 thick by my reckoning and it works very well as it's not very thick or sticky like any other lube I've used. The extremely light coating on the sides of the gas key, the 4 rails of the bolt carrier and the underside where the hammer moves immediately and slightly noticeably improved the smoothness of my worn out LMT frame. This improvement was noticeable

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Contact seller

The best assembly lubricant ever!

I love this thing! Redline makes the best products and this lube is no exception. It's nice and thick, but still thin enough to function and stay where you put it. The best part is that when mixed with oil, it does not clog, turns into a liquid and mixes with enema oil or in any other case. This stuff is just great for building my SBC engines and I will always use it, especially when building short blocks. You can put it on your main and rod journals and turn the motor by hand countless times…
