It's *much* thinner and flimsier than I thought it would be. You know those giant '80s curlers with white, yellow, red, blue, and gold ribbon? That's it. Curly ribbon with a little more shine.

I use this product to wrap my handmade soaps. It's flexible, easy to tie, I like the matte finish and muted color. I broke it once by pulling too hard, but it usually proves strong enough. If it gets wet, it won't bleed. Good price for 100 meters of material.

I love this blue, especially considering the color of the packaging and sticker I use when shipping my product. I make jewelry and love gift wrapping most orders and the blue color looks great with a white box and my logo decal. I part the tape so the ends are shaggy for a natural look. My third order.

I didn't like this ribbon as it is very thin, flimsy and dull gray instead of the fresh green shown in the picture. I have bought other raffia ribbons with the same 1/4 inch diameter, they were thicker and stronger. My daughter (who bought the same band) and I asked for a returns form a few weeks ago and still haven't received one. I've never used raffia in a project but need it for a purse I'm working on. This bast was perfect! I usually have an issue with thread widths on these items, but the width was consistent throughout, which was great for my project. I don't know if I'm a tighter caliber, if the raffia stretches, or if I got over 100 yards, but I was able to finish my project with a little more than one spool, even though the template said I'd need two.
