I bought this for a military event 2 yrs ago--I've worn it twice and it's still holding up perfectly! I went by the sizing recommended and then went up 1 size as many said it fits kind of true/small. It was perfect fit. Especially with the corset back, it helped to tighten it as needed. I'm just under 5'9 & just under 200lbs, measurements are 40x37x47 & I could not begin to get this dress on.I actually got stuck halfway in it & had to get my son to help me out.(it was quite comical). This is an extremely pretty and flattering dress. Definitely go by the measurements and not the number. You’re not gonna like the size number. I also suggest when measuring the hips/butt/thigh area, wrap your tape around and sit down. Use that number because after the corset part there is not much wiggle room.
