Not practical - my new review

These rain pants are designed with the zipper, for ease of slipping your foot through the bottom, in the back; that is not practical.Returning this item.

Pros
  • Met my expectations!
Cons
  • Material may be too thin or flimsy, making it uncomfortable to wear for extended periods of time

Low quality and small for its listed size.

Product is very low end. The seat of the pants is very small. If I squat in these pants it will rip open the seat area because the fabric is very thin and too small. Don't recommend as it will probably be a one time use and throw out afterwards.

Pros
  • These pants are awesome. I stay dry and can move around in them great.
Cons
  • May not be durable enough to withstand intense outdoor activities such as rock climbing or mountaineering

not waterproof - my new review

The good:- Ultra-lightweight pants- Leg zippers are positioned in the back of the leg (instead of on the side) which should prevent seepage from oncoming spray while riding a motorcycle through the rain. The bad:- The pants leak water immediately, at the seat, where four seams come together. This is unacceptable for motorcycle riders as we literally "sit in a puddle of water" for hours while riding in the rain.- The leg zippers are not long enough to allow easy on/off when wearing adventure type

Pros
  • Got what I was looking for. Lightweight and packable. So far so good!
Cons
  • May not offer enough protection in the event of unexpected weather changes or emergencies

Perfect inexpensive, packable emergency rain pant

I was in the market for packable emergency rain pants; something compact, lightweight (and inexpensive) that I could pull out of my backpack along with a poncho if there was a surprise shower during a hike or bike. I have a high performance (read: expensive) pair of rain pants, but they are bulkier and overkill for bringing along on a "just in case” basis. I actually bought (and returned) a couple other similar products because they were oddly fitting or didn’t pack small. These came folded…

Pros
  • FREELAND EXCEED INC
Cons
  • May not provide enough flexibility or range of motion for physical exertion during outdoor activities

Worth the money good for me

These rain pants are light, not that expensive, and completely waterproof. They are not "breathable.".so you get wet from your own persperation. They are tight.I am slender so i doubt that they would be good for fat people. The case is built into the left pocket. it cannot be removed. They don't offer protection from the feeling of the rain hitting your legs.but they are light which is important for backpackers.

Pros
  • Comfortable and can't wait to try them out
Cons
  • Not suitable for cold weather or extreme conditions
