Unstable quality

I have ordered these containers before and have been very happy with the product. However, when I last ordered the containers I received were significantly worse than the containers I had ordered in the past. The containers I received this time are thinner, clearer, less durable, and many lids are too big for containers and leave a large air bubble inside the container when closed. Below is a picture of the two jars I received with my most recent order, along with a jar from previous orders. My

Leakproof as Hell: Kitchen & Dining

Much better than Ziploc containers. If you put food in it warm, it sucks when you open it again. Like these glass bottles you could use to store fruit or preserves. Haven't used it for the freezer yet but they look great. Tried to buy those ziploc freezer containers, those plastic jugs, they're useless, air gets in and it's cold everywhere. Here's another example you know when you put rice in the fridge to dry for 24 hours. you can't do that because the moisture stays inside and the rice is…

NOT THE QUALITY OR ORIGIN OF Extreme Freeze Reditainer 32 oz.

This 16 oz. Reditainer Extreme Freeze containers and lids are thinner and less durable than 32-ounce containers. versions. I think these are cheap fakes. I received the 16 ounce and 32 ounce packs in the same package and the difference is clear. 32 oz is thicker, stronger, and even lids that should be exactly the same aren't. The 32 oz caps say MADE IN USA but the 16 oz caps do not. BUT they have the same numbers to make them look like the same product. I have not frozen any food in it but just

Perfect for OAMC! - Kitchen & Food

I cook a lot at OAMC. I use the Foodsaver for a few things, but I needed a better way to freeze soups and stews. I love Reditans! I bought the 8 oz and 16 oz sizes. The lids close tightly, but that's what you need when freezing. Air is the enemy. After the food has cooled in the containers, I always take a piece of plastic wrap and press it onto the top of the food in the containers. This displaces excess air and adds another layer of air protection. After attaching the lid, I cut off the…

Durable and reusable

I love these containers! I would love them MORE if they made some that were SQUARE. I like to use my pressure cooker to make LARGE batches of soups, stews, soups, beans, etc. when I'm making these things, and I use them (in 8oz, 16oz, and 32oz) to pop the rest in my freezer. I love being able to easily defrost dinner and these containers are perfect for that. But as I mentioned before, it would be a MUCH better use of space in my freezer if these containers were SQUARE. I hope the manufacturer…

It's great!: Food Storage

I have purchased these containers many times and use them every day. As an individual, her size is perfect. Whatever I cook, I make enough for multiple meals and keep the excess in these containers to pop in the freezer. They are great for soups, spaghetti sauce, meat and gravy, leftovers, etc. They are strong and keep their fridge/freezer properties; they are not easy to stain; And they can be washed in the dishwasher. They also thaw easily. I take one out of the freezer and put it in hot…

These containers are the same size as the ones you get at takeaway restaurants. They are standard sized and the lids and containers are interchangeable, nestable and stackable. No need for extra shelves just for different sets of bins. One of my favorite problems with containers has been the different sizes and shapes of kits you often see in stores. You buy a new set and after a few months you need more and you can't find the same things again. I found I ended up with various stacks of…

Food storage at its finest.

Original rating: These containers are awesome! I've had them for 8 months now and they're still in great shape. You can use them for wet or dry products. They work well on the countertop (pretzels, candies, mixes, etc.) or in the fridge/freezer (jelly, soup, frozen yogurt, etc.). They're great for portioning out meals/snacks for the week. So if you need portion control, they're perfect. They withstand the elements of washing and freezing. I only hand wash these containers as they are plastic…
