Effortlessly Messy: Redken Brews Dishevel Medium Control Hair Product Review

I'm growing my hair out right now and was looking for something to tame it for those awkward moments in between. Other products were too strong, made my hair look slicked back, or did nothing. Definitely recommend it!

I think Redken has changed their men's line. It's not the same as what I used in the pump bottle, but looks like it's the only choice now. i have normal hair not fat. not flimsy and it's about 2.5 inches long from the top. This material does not add texture. Maybe it's more of a straightening cream for curly hair? Not sure how this got good reviews. spend $20. can i send it back?

Like I said, not a TON of retention. This is a great product for a natural look and with a PERFECT scent. I swear this product smells like Johnny Depp sailing the seven seas while a drop of his sweat graces the salty whirlpools of the ocean with his juicy scent. Bottle this Wombo combo and name it Redken Brews. Hell, even when I don't look good - 95% of the time - I smell like Captain Jack Sparrow's salty sea sweat. :P

Great when you want to give direction to fine hair. I have a hunch it's just a rebranded hand lotion. But hey, it works! I was surprised to see other reviewers mention the smell. My main reason for using this product is that it is virtually odorless. I think some reviewers have a different Redken product as they might smell bad. But not this one.

It is a great product however. It arrived broken and I asked for a replacement. It doesn't look like the process will allow customers to submit photos. So in that case I'm going to go to UPS and ask them to ship that back. And according to the return instructions, I don't even need the box. Let's see how it goes.

Let me start with the following words. I'm a pretty "normal" guy who doesn't care too much about skin/hair/body products. I've been using Redken for three years now because their products last a long time. Although the cost is higher I believe the value is much higher than the cheap gel because it lasts much longer. Not to mention that this stuff makes my hair beautiful and smells pretty good too.

I've been using this product for a year and a half now and I love it. I have medium length hair (that covers my ears). After drying my hair, I put a dose in my hands, rub my hands and run them through my hair. This leaves your hair with a tousled look. ATTENTION - do not comb your hair, the fixation will go away. This is just an average solution! This product works very well for me.

This thing is great, I've tried sooooo many other products and I keep coming back to this one. It's enough to fix the fhok and has worked great on other hairstyles I've tried. Doesn't make your hair harsh and even if you mess it up, it still keeps your hair in place. Doesn't add shine to hair either. If the hair is tangled, you can wet your hands and change the hairstyle.
