After running about 40 miles in these shoes, I sprained my ankle for no apparent reason while walking on smooth pavement. Surprisingly light. My men's size 10.5 weighed about 9.4 ounces. The foam is quite firm but firm underfoot and feet feel refreshed even after long runs. I use this shoe for everything: running, long runs, tempo workouts. As I said, great energy return for an uncoated shoe. Reebok is the leader in the running shoe category, but these no-frills shoes fit and feel just like the Nike Pegasus (in my opinion). If you are between sizes, be sure to order half a size smaller.
