Reebok's New Coke - Men's

Loved these back in the 80's and was glad to get them again. I did some research and found that these - with the GREEN lettering - are actually the same as the different styles of Reebok tennis shoes I had in the 80's. They differ from those sold at Kohls (the ones they sell have white letters). These were the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I used to call them "foot gloves" and bought several pairs during that decade. 80's (although they have a little less terry lining than I recall)…

Pros
  • Upper measures approximately "low" from arch
Cons
  • Can't remember

Club C85 is NOT the same as C MemT

Usually in Black/Black or White/Navy, the difference between Club C85 and Club MemT is only $5-6. Although the shoes look similar to me. The difference in quality and wear is enormous. The C85 has a stitched/glued sole, while the Memt only has a glued sole (look carefully at the top of the sole for both shoes). The C85 also has better ventilation. The C85 has good metatarsal support, while the Memt has almost no arch support (if you have arch issues, you may not like either style). I buy Club…

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Has flaws

I have been wearing these Reebok Club C men's shoes for almost 30 years and they are so comfortable I have been wearing them since my late teens. now in my mid 40's. Obviously shoes have gone up in price over the years (it was $20 in 1990!) but the quality didn't change much until a few years ago and now I literally buy a new pair in every year hoping they don't get worse, they literally find ways to make them all cheaper and cheaper. They made the shoes thinner, with way less cushioning, worse

Pros
  • I hold my fists
Cons
  • Good but not great

Great inexpensive classic casual shoe

Okay, I might pop a few bubbles at first, but this is a $60 shoe, so please don't expect the leather quality or arch support that you'll find in a $100+ shoe to get. All sneakers are discounted in one way or another, and you're forced to upgrade to get the style, comfort, and quality you want. Yes, they may have changed them to keep them in the price range for their target market. I mean good arch support if you buy something like the Green Feet, which alone will cost you around $40. Cheap…
