Good shoe Buy one size down

I wear a size 11 in Brooks so I bought a size 11 in these shoes. They were too big so I bought a size 10.5. At 10.5 they were still too big. Thought I'd try size 10 one last time. Well they finally fit well. My suggestion would be to go down a size when purchasing this shoe.

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Doubt

The Deckhand 2 was better

The Deckhand 2 could be worn without laces and had a much more comfortable gel-like insert. Too bad The Reef stopped producing. Tried these and they are not as comfortable and don't wear well unless tied tightly.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Great brand best in Men

I love Reef shoes and I think I have all the models for men. Great brand and look great. I have a huge runner's arch so it doesn't support me as much as the Reef shoes do, but I love them no matter what.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Compatibility

My fourth pair! Best in Shoe

I love these shoes. I buy two pairs every year and will be disappointed if they are ever discontinued. I wouldn't buy two pairs because of the quality. I wear them every day so I have a pair that needs to look nice and new when I go out or something nicer than just my job. They look great with jeans and look stylish with shorts. I've owned a couple of Reef shoes as well as a couple of similar brands. These were the best Reef shoes I've ever had (although I've never had a bad pair) and they are…

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

Catch some kind of bowling shoe?

Worn for almost two weeks, I'm trying to scratch them and the rubber on the bottom is still slippery, like a grocery store. Personally, I could probably use these shoes for bowling. They look good and feel the way you would expect in this area. As a "dock" shoe, I was looking for something I could wear for both boating and everyday wear. They don't give me the confidence or support that I would get from a normal basketball or running show. I've used Vans, Air Walks and Nike in the past…

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Will write later

My first pair of men

Perfect fit (size 11). Comfortable right out of the box and appears to be of good quality. I will be using these for everyday wear so can't confirm durability for use as skateboarding shoes (sorry I'm too old for that). I have the green seaweed and I love it. Not as bright as I thought it would be good for me!

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Expandable

Degraded in quality

I already had these shoes and liked them so much I ordered another pair. In my opinion, Reef has lowered their quality standards. The last pair had a nicer fabric and thicker hamstring pad. The canvas is now thinner and the Achilles' heel is bigger for the show. Also, you usually expect deck shoes to be white underneath (last pair was) but they are black.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish

Nice summer shoes Chillin-and-Grillin

At least I hope so. I wore them together for the first time and unlike other low cut canvas shoes I've worn in the past they seem to be quite well constructed and also very comfortable on my feet (they might be a little less comfortable for those with wide feet). They also look great with Dockers style shorts and Hawaiian shirts, that's all. I'll update this review later in the summer when I wear more of these to comment on durability.

Pros
  • Useful not only for the intended purpose
Cons
  • Style 90

Tailor your purchase to your needs.

These shoes look great and the material is still good for everyday, not regular use. I think if you are the kind of person who can easily go barefoot these shoes are great. For me I wear insoles in all my shoes or I get headaches. My problem with these shoes is that nothing can be added to them for comfort. there is no place Adding insoles raises the foot high enough that the entire shoe feels uncomfortable. In short, the shoe is well suited for people who don't add cushioning. For those of us…

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Nothing
