🚚 Reese Towpower Multi-Fit Trailer Hitch Class III - 2 in. Receiver - Compatible with Chevrolet, Dodge, Ford, GMC Trucks Review

After much searching I couldn't find a front hitch for my 2015 Express Van. This is a "universal" hold I saw from a guy on YouTube. It tinkered a bit, but it fit very well. Chevrolet Express 2500 2015 version.

The coupler itself is good but the mounting bolts and nuts are useless and the instructions too, after I bought the nuts and bolts from the hardware store and ignored the instructions everything else went fine except what I had Drill 2 holes on each side and insert 4" bolts in the side and center tubes to prevent the hitch from sliding side to side due to the pre-drilled holes not being aligned. Overall a good hitch, just be prepared to watch a few YouTube videos beforehand.

The full description states worse weights than expected, surprisingly light for such a heavy hitch. The package arrived in poor condition, but after opening it (surprisingly) all the parts were there. Installation information for series up to 98K will confuse many. The image of the long box bolt point worked, but only after drilling holes for the factory bumper bracket mounting bolts (4 total). The spacers pictured are not needed, the rear bracket to the frame is angled more than I would like…

I ordered this kit for my 1996 Chevy 1500 z71. It had no instructions for this truck model, only Silverados from 1999 and later. So in the end I just assembled it and it worked. There was a lot of gear but when it came down to it they sent me the wrong size bolt so I had to use the bolt I had in my shop. I also have a lot of gear left. I would have given more stars if I didn't have to search for the screw that should have been included in the first place.

I bought this for my 1994 Dodge Ram pickup and had to carry it to the local store. Towing is serious business, and you really want those nuts tightened to advertised specs. The workshop was able to assemble the hitch within an hour and get me the right hitch for my camper. Hooking it up was easy thanks to the cotter pin secured with a cotter pin. The hitch was advertised as 'no drill' but the very first step is to drill the frame! The hitch is universal and fits many types of trucks. The kit was missing the 1/2" nuts needed to complete the installation and I had to go to my local hardware store to get more. Update: After 2 years the clutch worked great! After the first tow I went back and checked the torque to make sure nothing was loose and everything was fine. I was towing a payload maxed out with turf and the hitch worked flawlessly.

Good but versatile hitch, not plug and play. Lots of screws and fasteners. I need to be partially assembled before installation. You will have equipment. The 2 frame bolts [included] you need to install the 2 side plates come with 2 unique nuts that look the same as the rest but only thread onto these 2 carriage bolts. Be sure to try and make all the nuts to make sure you get the right ones. DO NOT TIGHTEN ALL BOLTS UNTIL YOU HAVE CENTERED THE COUPLING. In general a good product.
