Good product. - Appearance

You can't go wrong with this manufacturer's workhorse. Note, however, that mounting screws are not included. So buy a set of 3 stainless steel or automotive grade bolts, washers and nuts to finish the job.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not bad

The socket itself is fine. However

The jack itself is fine. However, I have a 2017 F150 and it's on a Karavan trailer. I cannot open the back door when installed. If it was about an inch shorter it would be clean. This is with a 3 inch hitch.

  • Price
Cons
  • Hard to say

I'm really excited!

You know that – you hand over the device, but the damaged one comes back. You hand in the trailer and it comes back damaged. Revain to the rescue! My unorthodox, sad jack was replaced with this slim, lean, strong beast. It was easy to install and does a great job of meeting my high expectations. The pivot action to raise and lower is divine - you don't really appreciate it until you use the broken one.

Pros
  • Noble design
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for seniors

I'm not sure if this is the real Reese Jack or a fake.

Tried the adjustable footrest on jacks of the same Reese model in stores and it fits easily. The one I got was tight and as you can see in the picture there is a seam in the bottom bar that I had to lube and slide in and out of the lower leg to wear the seam and allow the foot to slide . If you look at the mounting plate you will see that the front of the plate is facing forward but the jack is on the side.

Great Jack trailer.

I wanted a jack with a detachable leg. About half of the reviewers reported receiving a jack with a permanently attached leg. I took a chance and, to my delight, got a block with a detachable leg. I didn't expect the bushing to be any better than the one I replaced, especially at this price point. This jack is REALLY well built and exceptionally strong. I couldn't be happier. A jack of this quality for $27.90. MARVELOUS! I'm not usually impressed with goods made in China. This one really is an…

Well I received the package fine but when I opened it I found the jack washer was missing. It's okay, I have pucks. I just didn't know they had to be very thin. I finally found one. When I tried to attach the handle I found that it was bent. With the help of my anvil, chisel and big hammer I fixed it and put it on. I found the foot too small so I put it on myself. Then with my three screws I tightened it, no-brainer! Everything works perfectly with my parts and my work. Now that I know what to…

Alignment and Stabilization Build Issues

As others have said, the instructions say a washer under the grip, but it's not included. The instructions appear to be out of date as the washer is not needed here as the handle does not even touch the body. The big difficulty I had was that the bar was too short to fit the bolt in the handle. I searched on youtube but the videos didn't help. Eventually I disassembled the jack and found I could unscrew the rod and let it stick out further. It would be nice to know that beforehand. Otherwise…

Pros
  • Best in Niche
Cons

The handle broke off while driving and then the jack support fell on the asphalt of the highway and dragged. I looked at it and the staff holding it also disappeared. Funny, that's how the thing fell apart. I'm buying a completely different side grip product to counteract the weak grip of this product. Shame about this product. Yes you heard it, for me their customer service is not even there! There is no customer service. I've tried 10 times in 2 weeks to call Reese's customer service and tech

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Some little things
