We have a shelf and a door. They look great on the wall, it took us a bit to find the rivets but we have a lathe so the process was a bit tricky. Cats like them, but not as much as I thought. They're slowly warming to new stuff, although 100% recommended, might even get a second leaf soon.

My cats use this every day. Most of the time they sleep on it, but occasionally I hide treats on it and they check back regularly to make sure they haven't missed any treats. They are very strong and beautiful at the same time. They are easy to install with a spirit level and a drill. I have four shelves total and they use all four on a daily basis. I would buy again without hesitation.

My 1 year old cat loves it. This is how she spends most of the day. However, I have a white shelf and didn't like the original fluffy liner. It didn't stay at all until I sewed a piece of plain cotton fabric over the white fabric. But it worked! It also took me a long time to install properly as others have mentioned, but it was worth it.

I love the structure of the shelf and it's perfect for my purposes, but cats absolutely hate the faux fur lining. It's just plain creepy and cheap on the $80 cat shelf. You even pay an extra $5 for a notebook. All other colors of this bed come with a Berber insert which my cats get along with well. Why the manufacturer thought faux fur was a good idea let alone an upgrade I don't understand. I contacted them to see if they would replace the liner with one of the Berber options but all they…

Installing this thing on the wall was a nightmare. Horror stories from other reviewers about poorly constructed beds bursting out of the wall made me fear God. Not to mention that this thing weighs a ton. You need to know a lot about the composition of your walls to get them right, that's all I can say. Other than that, my cat loves it and its happiness is worth making me want to shoot myself installing this thing. I'm not sure why this bed is so prohibitively expensive. Nice but NOT that nice.
