Maytag would click twice every 3 minutes (about 8 seconds apart) and the freezer wouldn't work, the fan was blowing but not cooling so the frozen meat/ice cream started dripping Water. I have only used the starter rep (and NOT the protector) from this seller. The old one I took off made a noise when shaken, which was a clear sign of damage. I had to squeeze the connector harder to ensure good and firm contact and then everything worked! $10 to the rescue!
