Regent Labs Kleenite Multipurpose Dental Cleanser 9oz - Pack of 4 Review

My daughters and I use this product to clean our retainers and night shields. It's gentle enough for everyday use. Every morning I put my nightwear in the laundry bin, add half a capful of detergent and let it soak until bedtime. Rinse under running water and it's ready to use again. No aftertaste and keeps my wake nice and fresh. Good product!

I used to use regular denture cleaning tablets because I couldn't find them in stores after my orthodontist recommended them to clean my retainer. I love that I don't have to open individual sachets every day and can just add some powder to a cup of water to clean. It definitely cleans my retainer much better than the pills. As a result, they do not smell fresh and white spots do not form as quickly.

I first used this product in 2004 on my retainer. Now I use the Clear Correct system, which is very similar to Invisiline. It worked great! I pour about 1/2 a cap full, mix with enough water to cover my retainers in a small specialty cup (not the one I use for mouthwashes as kleenite leaves a soapy residue) and let sit for about 10 minutes while I do my bedtime ritual finish. Clinite is a small granule, almost like kosher salt in consistency. Every morning I put a capful of Kleenite in a small plastic container of warm water to soak my retainers. My orthodontist was shocked to see that my retainers are almost 6 years old and look brand new! When I travel, I measure out the amount of Kleenite powder I need in a small rubber container and keep an extra bottle cap of Kleenite for that purpose.
