I have used several different tools to cut wire rope and flimsy cable. This tool puts them all to shame. It easily cuts 1/16 stainless steel wire and is also great for crimping wire lugs.

I needed to make a cable for my 1972 Jacobsen snowblower. I couldn't find this cable anywhere. I bought this crimping tool and a 1/16 stainless steel cable and made a cable. Worked great! I also made some strain relief cables. Everything worked great. This crimper is unbeatable in terms of price.

This is something I won't use often but is a good tool to have in your pocket. I've recently put up a lot of art around my house and hung it from wire. Well built and easy to use, and as a bonus, it has 100 barrels. It was a little harder than expected. This tool made the job easier because I could cut and crimp with the same tool. All in all a good buy and a good item for a home tool bag.

I read the description carefully before buying this item. Nowhere in the description did I find anything to suggest it was made in China. I even zoomed in on the pictures to see if it was marked somewhere and nothing. When I received the tool I looked all over the tool for a stamp, sticker or something and NOTHING. The box label says MADE IN CHINA on the last line. If I had known that, I would NOT have bought it. Revain should start putting "MADE IN CHINA" in the description so we can avoid…

This cable crimping tool fits the cable I ordered perfectly. I got it to install lights around my campsite. As expected, the tool is lightweight. Anything cheap will break in 2 minutes if you try to cut the cord. It doesn't look cheap at all. The handle is a good size that offers a good grip when squeezing. They contain 100 double ferrules for use with wire rope. This is exactly what you need to keep the rope taut.

The crimping tool works as expected. I'm not thrilled with where the latch is located. When the tool is facing down, it will automatically lock after the crimping process is complete. Then you have to fiddle a bit with both hands to release the latch.
