Description of ๐Ÿ  Enhanced HomeKit Assistant Control: A Trustworthy and Dependable Support

Remote Control: To enable HomeKit remote control, you need a HomePod, an Apple TV 4K, Apple TV HD, or an iPad. Set any of these Apple devices in your house as a HomeKit bridge and connect it to your home Wi-Fi network. Keep in mind that once your HomeKit bridge is set up, it has to be kept online. If it is powered off or disconnected from the Wi-Fi, it will fail to respond when you intend to control the device remotely. Voice Control: You can control your devices hands free, just give voice commands to turn on/off the connected devices. Compatible with Apple HomeKit, Apple Watch, Siri, Carplay, Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and SmartThings. Compact Size: Smart plug occupies only one socket, the device allows you to stack two mini smart plugs in the same outlet, which is convenient and practical. Schedule: You can schedule connected home devices to turn on and off automatically by smart plugs. Save energy when lights are not needed or left on by accident. Sunrise and sunset setting are supported. Quality: The mini plug is made of PC flame retardant material, and has been approved for safety and quality assurance. Certified by ETL and FCC, it supports home appliance up to 15A.

Very happy with it

Very easy to install with Apple Home Kit. You don't need to install any third-party iOS app. Make sure you have enough space to scan the QR code when you connect to the network, it's printed on the side of each device. Scan the code in the Apple Home app and it will install automatically. After that, you can rename your sockets to keep things organized. Installation took less than two minutes the first time I used the Apple Home app. Very satisfied, thinking about buying more!

Quick and easy to install and use

Having already set up two Meross Smart WiFi garage door openers I decided to try their smart plugs. Since the app was already installed and configured for my home network, it only took 1 minute to install the outlet! I made a quick name change and the plugin was automatically registered in my Revain Alexa setup. Now I can stay cool with an Alexa-enabled fan thanks to the Meross connector! Easy to use, quick to install, compact enough for other devices to use the outlet.

They rarely work through the Apple Home app.

I have three mini smart plugs that I installed through the Apple Home app. Unfortunately, they almost never work. Most of the time I have to turn them on and off manually on the Smart Plug Mini itself. In the home app, the smart mini constantly displays either "Updating" or "No Response". I tried using the Meross app hoping that a firmware update would fix the problem but as they are already installed via the Apple Home app the Meross app doesn't recognize them. I suggest avoiding these smartโ€ฆ

Best Value Smart Plug Apple Homekit

This is my first smart plug and before that I never thought of installing a smart plug at home. I recently wanted to try installing a Smart Jack to test it out, but many Smart Jacks were either too expensive or required a bridge to install. After comparing many products I decided to try this Meross because it was cheaper than other products. Installation was easy via Apple Homekit and once I installed it works great. All you have to do is scan the code on the top of the plug and it's ready toโ€ฆ

Another great Meross product

I have several Meross products and this is the first product I bought on IOS. The product itself is small, easy to use, and works really well with Siri (Siri responses are way better than Alexa or Ok Google). What I think could be improved: The installation guide suggests to start with the home app, which is wrong, it didn't work, I had to start with the Meross app and it guided me correctly. Rest was pretty easy. Works with Alexa and Ok Google. although turning it on and off with the Appleโ€ฆ

After several attempts, failed to connect to HomeKit

Like other reviewers, I was very disappointed that this product failed to connect to HomeKit. After all, it's one of the few smart plugs that support HomeKit, so you'd think they'd make it work. To be fair this is the second batch of these candles I have purchased. I had no problem adding the first batch to HomeKit. Everything worked correctly. However, that was some time ago and iOS was updated and since then there have been several firmware updates in the outlets. My guess is that there isโ€ฆ

Not compatible with some modern mesh routers

I install part-time residential home automation systems. Most setups use Alexa/Google for automation, but the latest was an exclusive Apple Homekit setup. If you also want to jump on the Homekit bandwagon and think these Meross sockets are the cheapest option, read on. First, setting up the Meross socket and bulbs was a more complex process than competitors like Feit and Philips. Some devices initially experienced a setup error requiring a reset (may take 3-10 minutes each time). After severalโ€ฆ
