ReliBeauty Ingalls Wilder Pioneer Costume Review

I always buy nice clothes for my grandchildren. Usually these are princess dresses or mask dresses. This time I bought a dress that looked like Little House on the Prairie. You watch the show every day and my granddaughter squealed with delight when she opened it. She wore it all weekend while we were there. Very well made and fits her perfectly.

I bought this size 8 dress for my eight year old daughter and it fits perfectly and has room to grow! It is very soft and lightweight yet durable; not at all the quality of the costume. This dress can be worn without an apron and unbuttons for easy dressing. It's very cute with or without the apron. The hood also fits very well. Highly recommended for everyday use!

Internal label says 100% Polyester, not 100% Cotton as stated. Otherwise a good dress for our pioneer expedition. A size 150 or 10/12 is roomy enough but the sleeves seem to be 3/4 long and the hem length isn't long enough for my average height of 9 years. Larger girls will need to purchase adult sizes for a proper fit.

The costume is charming, inexpensive and well made. The only reason I give 4 stars is that the hood cover is a bit flimsy and can easily lose its shape. Maybe some strength on my part would help? Plus it's awesome and my daughter put it on right after it opened on Christmas morning! She is tall and slim so the dress itself was a bit large but the apron tightened it up and it looks perfect! She looks like a steppe girl!
