The clips that come with this set are really excellent and I really like them. The cool red anodized finish looks great in any shop. The squares are not exactly square. They are close but certainly not exact squares. Some clamps are intentionally crooked a few degrees so that they square when pushed down. This is not their case as they are reference squares that should hit the square. Good price. Good clamps. Medium squares. 4 stars.

I have never used these clamps and ordered them thinking they would fit my project. They really do - they are fantastic. Be sure to check out the pictures as they work exactly as shown. Relitec R 90 degree square clamps are made from solid blocks of CNC machined aluminum. They are marked in inches on one side and cm/mm on the other side. They are perfectly anodized. Gauge marks are applied with paint, so they can be erased with prolonged use. These clips are very high quality and I used two squares to ensure the inside and outside corners are exactly 90 degrees. I have some longer clips and found them more difficult to use. Compare them to the longer Dicatte brand. I prefer these smaller 5.5" clamps because it takes a little effort to hold the wood together, hold the clamp in place, and screw the clamps in. The longer the yoke, the more likely it is that the yoke will slip along its entire length, especially when placed at the outer corners. If you had an extra pair of hands to hold, the length wouldn't be an issue. I have small hands as a female so I…

Rectangular aluminum and plastic rights have a 90 degree angle. The few holes on the aluminum square are great, giving you options on where to clamp. I only wish the clamps were a little longer to accommodate thicker material. I tried using this for a photo frame but the max is about 1 15/16 inches. There are a number of different styles of corner clamps in my shop and the style clamps of these Relitec R 90 Aluminum Corner Clamps are the most versatile and the ones that i go to mostly i appeal.
