I ordered a $5 trimming tool kit and it took me less than 20 minutes to get the broken headlight and frame out and install a new one . It fit my 2016 EX-L perfectly and was really easy to make, a great solution and a money saver compared to store.

We were offered almost 5 times more to replace a broken CRV fog light. Once you receive this item you will see the latches and notches holding it in place and you should be able to pry the old assembly out with a flat head screwdriver and screw. There is absolutely no reason to remove the bumper or anything like that. Takes a bit of fumbling and gently squeezing, and then it comes back. Great price including lights, and left and right assembly can be purchased later.

The fog light itself was very easy to install even for a beginner. Replacing the driver's side light took less than 10 minutes. The silver plastic border around the headlight was damaged. The tabs are misaligned. After trying to install the cover for over an hour, one of the hinges finally broke off. So I had to use the original cracked and broken pad which took less than 30 seconds to replace.
