Depending on how many layers of gel you have, you may need to apply 1-3 coats to completely remove the gel. Cut off the top layer. Then apply this to the exposed gel. My wife was looking for an alternative to soaking gel polish and tried this product. The liquid has the texture of a goo and she applied it after removing the clear top coat from the nail.
