RenderMan is really great program to create realistic animations

The best feature of renderman or at least one that i have used it, its speed in rendering images/animations for realtime applications! It's very easy as well but not too user friendly if you are newbie like me!! I think there should be more tutorials online with this software because sometimes getting started can get quite scary especially when your first time using such an advanced tool (rendering). Pros
  • Speed
  • Rendering capabilities
  • Graphics quality
  • Easy to learn
  • Good graphics tools
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Pros
  • Very versatile tool to create realistic images.
  • Lots Of tutorials available online
  • Allows one do things easily even though sometimes requires little tweaking due compatibility issues between renderer versions/OSes.etc..(even tho most times works well)
Cons
  • Sometimes not intuitive enough
  • Can take long hours depending upon complexity
