It took a little effort but I managed it myself. I would strongly recommend buying this in lieu of Sharks' decision to buy a new ground unit. That works great.

Simple and economical solution. I watched videos on You Tube with repair tips. This turned out to be easier to fix than all the videos I've watched. All of these steps were optional.

Exact strap replacement on my Shark Apex. Once I figured out how to access it, it wasn't difficult. Fits tight. The vacuum has only been used a few times since the replacement but so far it's working great. I ordered three packs just in case.

Exactly matches the original strap. Next, look at her photo. Installation was easy after figuring out how to remove the side panel. Note that you need a Torx Security T20 bit. Note that you don't just have to remove the bottom panel from the side.

Reading other reviews I was concerned that this strap would not fit my Shark UV700. But I couldn't find a decent replacement anywhere, so I figured it might be worth a try. I think this belt is *slightly* thinner than the original, but it fits well. My vacuum cleaner is working again.

This belt is not a 153-3GT-8 but a fake xtd3m-153. I bought this, they sent me a fake belt and asked for the correct item and they sent me a fake again and then refunded me. What a waste of a week trying to fix our vacuum cleaner. The problem is that the htd3m is thinner and doesn't stick to the gears of our vacuum cleaner. I am very disappointed. Don't buy if you're repairing a shark style roller belt.

I did not receive the item shown. The seams should be the right size for the vacuum cleaner, but the quality is not the same as the original. The photo is proof of what I received. 3M thickness is thinner. The price corresponds to the quality, cheap. I don't expect the new 3M to last very long as the original broke when the vacuum tried to eat the mat.

The vacuum belt I ordered was part of a Gates 153-3GT-8 Shark vacuum. The belt I received was #3M-180-6.5. In fact, they're not even remotely large; not even close to working. I hope this is not indicative of what will happen to future orders. One product is advertised and another shipped. I really need my vacuum to work as it's too expensive to buy another for a $2 belt. CAN SOMEONE HELP?
