The thing worked great on my Honda xr80 engine although some modifications had to be made but in the end the bike ran much better

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED WITH MY PURCHASED! THE CARBURETTOR ARRIVES DEFECTIVE AND THE DEFECTIVE PART WAS NOT IN THE PACKAGE, WHICH MEANS YOU PACKED IT DEFECTIVELY. Extremely disappointed with this product.

Fits my 2001 XR80 8 . Definitely no modifications needed. I used a bolt on top from a factory carb but used the slider that came with it so I didn't even have to change the wire. Starts right up and was very easy to get through. Great deal and price.

Disappointing. The product was in excellent condition, easy to install, but the overall package was NOT the same as the stock carburettor. Once installed, the bike would lock up at moderate to high throttle and lose a lot of power. The bike idled well, only the overall performance dropped off badly. I do not recommend. The search continues if I don't want to spend 100€ on an original part.

This carburetor is very similar to the one on my 03 xr80r. They have a few interchangeable parts with a factory carburetor, but the slide itself is much smaller and non-interchangeable. The factory carburetor has 2 studs that attach the carburetor to the intake manifold, this carburetor only has threaded holes. So you need 2 screws to install it. After install fuel was spilling at the bottom so I moved the needle down one spot and that fixed most of the issues and the bike ran fine. Don't…
