Replacing the wire, at least on my slicer, was counter-intuitive to me and there were no instructions. However, once I understood their logic (through searching online) the installation was easy and should be fine. They sell them in sets for a reason: stainless steel can become brittle with use and washing.

Very strong and a perfect fit. Of course I bought them after the existing wire on my cheese cutter broke, probably because I was trying to cut something I shouldn't have. I bought cheaper wire to make my own but wasted my money instead. I bought these, put them on pretty quickly and now I have a great tight cheese cutting wire that works like a charm!

This replacement is actually for a specific type of cheese slicer, RSVP Cheese Slicer Marble. My slicer is a Thirstystone Bamboo cheese slicer. I can't... So I bought one of these wires and tried it out, managed to improvise with the installation and voila! My slicer is now working, if not wonderfully, then at least acceptably. Not perfect, but good enough for me. The quality of the wire is very good, although not quite suitable for my food slicer. Anyway, I'm glad I bought it. Likes to cut…
