    Good but not suitable for toothbrush

    I bought this to replace a Braun charger that no longer worked and to use it for traveling in Europe. Positive: The charger works on 110. On 220 I can only test it on my next trip to Europe. Negative: The pole on the charger that the toothbrush sits on doesn't have the right taper. Thus, the toothbrush sticks to the charger and requires two hands to remove it, one holding the charger and the other removing the toothbrush. It annoys me personally.

    Works great, fits well

    Some reviewers have complained about the charger's fit on the toothbrush, but my charger fits snugly and isn't 'tight'. So far I've only tried 110V and it works great. 110-220V is written below, but so far it has not been possible to try 220V. The new purchase is only a week old, so I can't say anything about the durability.

    BAD PRODUCT: Toothbrushes and Accessories

    This product does not do what it is supposed to. I left the country 6 months ago and had to use it because my toothbrush is not compatible with 220V electricity. After using this charger, my Oral B toothbrush started working strangely. It kept working even after turning it off and sometimes it didn't work at all. After using this charger my Oral B started to fail. The $99 toothbrush is useless now. PLEASE stay away from unreliable chargers like this one.

    Great for 110 and 220 but a bit cramped

    These chargers are great for both 110 and 220. The only odd thing is that they fit a little tighter on the bottom of the toothbrush than originals, so the toothbrush sticks a little to the charger, but of course that's not a problem.

    Works perfectly! in Toothbrushes and Accessories

    My original charger stopped working so I ordered it after the sale. It actually fits better and loads faster! If your toothbrush is completely discharged, leave it in this charger for several hours before you will see a light indicating that charging has started. I didn't think it worked at first, but after 2 hours it was working perfectly and continues to charge my Oral B toothbrush very quickly!

    Good replacement but...

    Fits my toothbrush but raises big questions. Why didn't Braun originally include this charger? This is a German company and their electric shavers are dual voltage, but the original charger can only support 110 volts by default. I've been using Oral B electric toothbrushes for decades and they've always been the same voltage. When I traveled overseas I got by with the battery powered model but I will be in Europe for a longer period of time and wanted to use my electric one.

    Only worked for a few months.

    Worked fine until it suddenly stopped. It's not clear if the warranty is 90 or 180 days and if so how to replace it as I now live in a different country than where I bought it (which is why I bought it). It would probably be cheaper to replace the brush than return the charger. It's better to just buy new products that are designed for the voltage you're going into.

    This product is designed to operate on 110-240 VAC (works well on 100 VAC in Japan) which covers most of the world. The compact design and small size make it easy to fit in a suitcase. The plug is US standard (compatible with Japanese and Philippine standards), but many upscale hotels around the world have a US-compatible outlet. in a razor only bathroom cabinet, perfect for that.
